Enfield Pageant - We were back to winning ways again with the award of best club stand. The theme was summer of 1976 which some of us can remember for the great drought! This proved a rather appropriate theme given the weather and several people were observed trying to extract water from our standpipe. BBQ/Car of the club award - This will take place at our Monday meeting on September 14th. The timetable is as follows:
- 6.00 p.m. - Volunteers to help set up and cook
- 6.30 p.m. - Cars wishing to be judged to arrive
- 7.00 p.m. - Those wishing to eat to arrive
Road Trip 2027 - The hunt for somewhere to stay has resulted in a booking near Shrewsbury in Shropshire for a 7 bedroom, 7 bathroom property for a week at the end of April 2027. All places are now taken.
Capel Manor tickets- There are a couple of tickets still available. The day represents excellent value for money as you have access to the gardens and mini-zoo for 2 people as well as a magnificent display of classic cars, trade stands and entertainment.
